Gonorrhea makes a lasting impression on both men and women. Like many STD’s, this disease is transmitted through sexual intercourse, anal and oral sex. Mothers can also transmit the disease to their babies during birth.

Signs/Symptoms
Men may experience burning during urination and discharge from the penis within 2 to 10 days after infection. Men may also experience a sore throat or diarrhea.
